Von Miller Crops John Elway Out Of White House Photo Amid Contract Dispute

Welcome to 2016, where professional athletes express their opinions via photo editing tools.

Von Miller, fresh off a strong season that saw him win Super Bowl 50 MVP, is entrenched in a dispute with the Denver Broncos over his latest contract, and things reportedly have gotten so bad that Miller could hold out the entire 2016 season.

But Miller put all disagreements aside last week when he and his teammates visited the White House to celebrate the Broncos’ Super Bowl victory. Or so it seemed.

Here’s a photo teammate DeMarcus Ware posted that includes Miller and general manager John Elway on the far right:

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miller cropping Elway out of the picture wasn’t just a coincidence — it was intentional.

“Miller is upset with the way negotiations with the Broncos have gone and how public they have become,” an ESPN report read, citing sources.

The issue in Miller’s dispute with Elway and the Broncos reportedly is over guaranteed money, as the four-time Pro Bowler is seeking much more than the $39.8 million guaranteed that Denver offered in its six-year, $114.5 million contract proposal.

If the two sides can’t work things out by July 15, Miller will have to play the 2016 season under a one-year franchise tender worth $14 million. Seeing that Miller is taking to Instagram to voice his frustrations, it looks like he and the Broncos could use all the time they can get.
