Who’s ready for some day baseball?

The Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays will close their three-game series Wednesday with a 12:10 p.m. ET matinee contest at Tropicana Field.

Xander Bogaerts is back in Boston’s lineup for the finale, playing shortstop and batting third after having Tuesday night off. He’ll join a batting order that amassed eight runs on 11 hits Tuesday in a bounce-back 8-2 win.

Christian Vazquez will slide down to the No. 9 spot for the Red Sox and do the catching for David Price, who faces an important start against his former team. The veteran left-hander is coming off his worst outing of the season, in which he allowed a season-high 12 hits and six earned runs over just 2 1/3 innings in a loss to the Texas Rangers.

If Price is able to deliver the win, it will help the Red Sox take their series with the Rays and salvage a 3-3 record on their road trip before beginning a nine-game homestand Friday. Price will oppose Tampa Bay left-hander Matt Moore.
