Mino Raiola doesn’t tweet much. When he does, especially in the midst of the summer transfer window, the soccer world must take notice.
Raiola used Twitter on Thursday to refute rumors that say Paul Pogba has agreed to join Manchester United from Juventus in what would be a record-setting transfer. French newspaper L’Equipe previously reported that Pogba had agreed to contract terms with Manchester United and that Juventus had accepted £105 million (€120 million/$140 million) for the French midfielder.
However, Raiola, Pogba’s agent, dismissed the speculation as talk.
If Pogba leaves Juventus for Manchester United, Real Madrid or another club in the coming weeks, he’ll undoubtedly be the most expensive player signed during the summer 2016 transfer window.
If he stays with the Italian club, we’ll just have to wait for the rumor mill to spin out of control next summer.
