Red Sox Vs. Angels Lineup: David Price Tries To Get Back On Track In L.A.

David Price’s two starts after the All-Star break have been eerily similar, and not in a good way.

The Boston Red Sox ace allowed 11 hits over 5 2/3 innings against the New York Yankees on July 17 and against the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. Price’s record now stands at 9-7 with a 4.51 ERA.

But perhaps a long road trip is just what the doctor ordered for Price and the Red Sox, who have lost five of their last seven games. Boston begins an 11-game West Coast swing Thursday night against the team with the worst record in the American League West, the Los Angeles Angels.

First pitch is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. ET at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
