Another day, another highlight reel play from the Boston Red Sox’s outfield.

On Monday night, it was Andrew Benintendi’s glove that stole the spotlight against the Tampa Bay Rays. But on Tuesday, Mookie Betts dropped jaws with his arm at Tropicana Field.

Rays center fielder Kevin Kiermaier ripped a double down the right field line in the eighth inning, but the speedster tried to stretch it to a triple. Turns out that was a bad idea, as Betts picked up the ball and fired a perfect throw to nab Kiermaier at third for the ultimate rally-killer in Boston’s eventual 2-1 win.

A closer look at the replay shows Kiermaier looking up at his third base coach in disbelief before asking, “Who was that? Mookie?”

It sure was, Kevin.

Betts’ incredible throw, an absolutely perfect one-hop throw from foul territory in the right field corner that landed right in Travis Shaw’s mitt, was his 10th outfield assist of the season, tying him with Melky Cabrera for sixth-most in the American League.

Stay tuned for Wednesday’s game, when it will be Jackie Bradley Jr.’s turn to make an awesome play.
