Red Sox Vs. Orioles Lineup: Eduardo Rodriguez Looks To Continue Dominant Stretch

UPDATE (7:30 p.m. ET): Aaron Hill was a late scratch for the Boston Red Sox with right forearm tightness.

That means Brock Holt will play third base and bat eighth, while catcher Sandy Leon will move up to the No. 6 spot.

ORIGINAL STORY: We’re not sure if the Boston Red Sox can’t wait to get on the road again, but that’s exactly what they did after Monday’s win over the Cleveland Indians.

The Red Sox now are settled into Baltimore for the next two days for a mini series against the Baltimore Orioles, as they try to gain ground on the co-American League East leaders. Boston sits one game behind both the Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays heading into Tuesday’s game for the division lead, making this two-game set that much more important.

The Red Sox will turn to left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez, who enters Tuesday’s game fresh off a dominant outing against the New York Yankees. He pretty much will have the same batting lineup as Monday backing him up, with the one change being Sandy Leon behind the plate and batting eighth.
