David Ortiz’s sense of humor certainly hasn’t diminished with age.

The Boston Red Sox slugger began his final game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the bench Sunday. That left himĀ ample time for dugout shenanigans, and when NESN checked in with sideline reporter Guerin Austin right in front of Boston’s dugout, Big Papi made his move.

The 40-year-old slugger always has marched to the beat of his own drum, and that’s exactly what he did here, videobombing Austin with what we’ll generously call some “dance moves.”

Ortiz had to put his serious face on a few innings later, though, pinch hitting in the pitcher’s spot in the sixth frame. He drew a walk and promptly was pinch run for — by pitcher Steven Wright, of all people — thus ending his career without a hit at Dodger Stadium.

Judging by the video above, though, he doesn’t seem too concerned.
