Not everyone believed in the Cleveland Indians entering the Major League Baseball postseason, so one die-hard fan decided to prove he’s been with the Tribe since Day 1.

Pretty cool, right? It is, until you see Matty’s wager: five bucks.
This guy deserves props for calling an Indians championship three months before the season started, but that’s not exactly going out on a limb to back your favorite team. The Indians, as they’ve done all postseason, took notice.

This story has a happy ending, though: Matty agreed to donate nearly all of his $95 payout to charity if Cleveland goes on to win the World Series.

The Indians still are five wins away from a title after the Blue Jays won Tuesday night to force a Game 5 in Toronto, but here’s hoping Matty and the Indians can cash in on his optimism.
