Patriots Work Out Two Free Agents, Including Ex-Jet Trevor Reilly

FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots held free-agent workouts for the second consecutive day Wednesday.

The Patriots worked out wide receiver Dres Anderson and linebacker Trevor Reilly, a source told NESN.com.

Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound Utah product, was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He was released from the 49ers’ practice squad Oct. 18.

Anderson ran a 4.54-second 40-yard dash with a 6.83-second 3-cone, 4.22-second short shuttle and 10-foot, 1-inch broad jump at his pro day in 2015. He caught four passes for 64 yards with a touchdown this preseason.

Reilly was selected in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the New York Jets out of Utah. He was released by the Jets with an injury settlement on Sept. 6.
