Sunday’s Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians at Fenway Park has been postponed due to rain.
The Red Sox and Indians will play Game 3 on Monday night at Fenway Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:08 p.m. ET.
Fans with tickets to Game 3 (the Red Sox’s first home game of the 2016 Major League Baseball postseason) can use those tickets for Monday night’s game. Fans with tickets to Game 4 can use their tickets Tuesday (if a Game 4 is necessary), but it’s unclear at this point what time that game will start.
Clay Buchholz will remain Boston’s Game 3 starter, according to Red Sox manager John Farrell. Josh Tomlin likely will remain Cleveland’s Game 3 starter, according to Indians skipper Terry Francona.
The Indians currently lead the best-of-five series 2-0 after winning Games 1 and 2 at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
