Roger Goodell has taken plenty of heat over the past few years. But if you’re looking to stick it to the NFL commissioner, don’t do it on the ping pong table.
New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall recently hosted a ping-pong tournament as a fundraiser for his PROJECT 375 foundation, which is committed to raising awareness about mental health issues. Goodell was among those in attendance, and he decided to take on Marshall in a friendly match — which got real very fast when the commish busted out his vicious forehand.

LOL Roger Goodell is pretty competitive when it comes to playing ping pong, just ask Brandon Marshall. 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/7aH8ZH4FHC

It’s possible Marshall let Goodell win to get on his good side, as For the Win suggests. But it’s hard to argue with the tape, which proves Goodell has some pretty serious ping pong skills.
As for Marshall, he’s probably pretty sick of losing at this point; the wide receiver’s Jets are 1-4 entering a tough road matchup with the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6.
