LeBron James Introduces Hillary Clinton At Ohio Rally Days Before Election

Voting often is a private decision, but NBA superstar LeBron James has made no secret who he’s casting his ballot for when the presidential election takes place Tuesday, Nov. 8.

The Cleveland Cavaliers forward is supporting Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The four-time NBA MVP pledged his support for Clinton in an endorsement op-ed for Business Insider last month, and he took that support another step further Sunday by introducing Clinton at a rally in Cleveland.

“I grew up on the inner-city… and I was around a community that was like ‘our vote doesn’t matter.’ But it really does,” James said at the event. “It really, really does. We have to get out and make sure we vote.”

Ohio is an important battleground state in the upcoming election. It has 20 electoral votes, and the Republican Party has never won the presidency without it.
