Auston Matthews was the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NHL Draft for a reason.
The Toronto Maple Leafs center has an abundance of skill, which includes incredible hand-eye coordination that was on full display during Monday night’s home game against the Anaheim Ducks.
Matthews scored a beautiful one-handed deflection goal, putting the Leafs up 1-0 on his 15th tally of the season.

Matthews, who scored four goals in his NHL debut back in October, is having an excellent rookie season.
Auston Matthews is the 10th player in #leafs history to score at least 15 goals as a teenager.
