Draymond Green Reverts To His Old Ways, Kicks James Harden In The Face

Draymond Green is at it again.

In double overtime of Thursday night’s matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, Green went up for a layup, and on his way down, his foot just so happened to find James Harden’s face.

Green was penalized with a flagrant one foul, and to add insult to injury, the Warriors lost 132-127.

Dirty plays aren’t exactly new for Green. Fans remember his now-infamous kick to Steven Adams’ groin in the 2016 playoffs, as well as his shoving match with LeBron James, which earned him a suspension for Game 5 of last season’s NBA Finals.

In fact, Green’s kick of Harden might have been his way of making up for a missed opportunity. In Game 4 of the Warriors’ first-round playoff matchup against the Rockets last season, Green appeared to swing his leg in Harden’s direction but didn’t make contact with the Houston guard.

It’s unclear whether Green will face further punishment for Thursday’s incident, but he’s clearly continuing to build a reputation as being one of the game’s dirtiest players.
