Here Are Five Teams On Upset Alert In NCAA Tournament First Round

March Madness is here.

What would the NCAA Tournament be without a few shocking upsets during the opening round?

With the brackets and regions set, North Carolina will attempt to become the first team since Florida in 2006 and 2007 to win back-to-back national titles. Virginia enters the tournament as the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed after going 31-2 and winning the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season and tournament title.

Last year’s first-round brackets were busted by 13-seeded Middle Tennessee State upsetting Butler and a pair of 11-seeds — Rhode Island and USC — both pulling off the upsets in their respective matchups.

This season should not disappoint when it comes to excitement in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
