NFL Rumors: This QB Is Working With Tom Brady’s Trainer Alex Guerrero

It looks like Alex Guerrero now has another NFL quarterback client aside from Tom Brady.

Guerrero became somewhat of a household name in the 2017 season, as he was identified as a key component in the reported strife within the New England Patriots’ organization. But Brady effectively has hitched his wagon to Guerrero, and now another signal-caller apparently is trying to reap the benefits of the trainer’s methods.

During a Wednesday appearance on NFL Network, Tom Pelissero revealed Guerrero’s newest project, which certainly will be much more of an uphill battle than Brady.

“I was told today that Alex Guerrero — you know, Tom Brady’s body guru, the TB12 guy — recently flew to Orlando and worked with Paxton Lynch,” Pelissero said. “Paxton Lynch also will be flying to Foxboro the second week of April to continue to work with Alex Guerrero, doing deep tissue stuff, they’ve made some nutritional adjustments. Paxton Lynch knows he’s at a crossroads here: Year three of his career, former first-round pick, they traded up to get him. He’s not going to just hand the job over to Case Keenum. He’s trying to get himself in the best shape possible to still keep himself in the mix.”

Lynch hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations after being selected 26th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. The 24-year-old has appeared in five total games over the course of two seasons, throwing for four touchdowns and four interceptions. Lynch has yet to show signs of being a capable starting QB, but who knows, maybe Guerrero can be his career’s saving grace.
