The NFL league office in New York was treated to an impromptu scouting combine Monday morning.
Taking a page out of NFL Network host Rich Eisen’s book, commissioner Roger Goodell ran his own full-suit 40-yard dash amid a sea of cubicles. NFL public relations chief Brian McCarthy shared a video of Goodell’s sprint, announcing the commish had crossed the finish line in 5.41 seconds.

We don’t really trust the NFL’s self-reported stats on this one, but Goodell at least appeared to be giving maximum effort as he booked it down that office hallway.
Eisen, who runs the 40 each year at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, completed his in an official time of 5.97 seconds.
