There will be a whole lot of star power toward the back end of the Masters’ third round.
Now that the field has been narrowed following Friday’s cut, 53 golfers remain in pursuit of a green jacket at Augusta National Golf Club. A number of previous Masters champions remain in the hunt for victory in the year’s first major, including Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth and Tiger Woods, who managed to make the cut after two days of underwhelming golf.
Woods will be featured in the fifth group off the tee alongside Ian Poulter, while Watson and Spieth will get started later in the afternoon with Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson, respectively. Patrick Reed (-9) and Marc Leishman (-7) will round things out on Day 3.
