With the Boston Red Sox clinging to a two-run lead in the eighth inning against the New York Yankees on Thursday night, the star outfielder hammered a three-run home run off Aroldis Chapman to grow the lead to five.

The home run marked the 30th of the season for Betts, and was the final dagger in the Yankees’ American League East coffin, as Boston held on to win 11-6 and clinched its third straight division crown.
