NBA Rumors: Jimmy Butler Expected To Meet With Heat, Rockets This Week
With NBA free agency just hours away, Jimmy Butler already appears to be exploring his options.
Butler is expected to meet with the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets within the next week, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. He’ll meet with Miami in south Florida on Sunday before meeting with Houston (which reportedly has been expected to aggressively pursue Butler in free agency) in Los Angeles early in the coming week.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports Butler has drawn interest from teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets as well, and could meet with the Philadelphia 76ers “soon.”
Sources: Jimmy Butler plans to meet with the 76ers soon and has interest from other teams with maximum salary space, including the Lakers and Nets, and sign-and-trade possibilities elsewhere.

The Sixers reportedly have been willing to work with Butler on a potential sign-and-trade deal, but it likely would cost the winning team a pretty penny.
