Hayward has been out with an ankle sprain
He’s (kind of) back.
Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward has been out with a Grade III ankle sprain suffered during the team’s first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Hayward left the NBA bubble during his recover, but has since returned and cleared quarantine. He was on the court Friday prior to Boston’s do-or-die Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors.
While Hayward remains out for Game 7, it certainly was encouraging to see him back on the floor.
