Celtics’ Jayson Tatum Doesn’t ‘Put Ceiling On Where I’m Trying To Get To’

'I want to be one of the best in the game'

Jayson Tatum is good at basketball, this much we know. But he never wants to stop improving.

The Boston Celtics forward certainly has made a name for himself over the course of his three seasons in green and already boasts an impressive résumé for being just 22 years old.

Tatum only is getting better as the years go on, a trend he hopes to continue throughout the course of his career.

“Each year I want to improve. I want to get better. I don’t put a ceiling on where I’m trying to get to,” he said Wednesday, via the Celtics. “I want to be one of the best. I want to be one of the best to play this game. I want to be one of the best in the game.”

That certainly doesn’t bode well for opponents.

Tatum will look to build off of his 10-point performance against the Philadelphia 76ers when the Celtics take on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday in Boston’s preseason finale.
