Ellis Burks Makes NESN Broadcasting Debut Ahead Of Red Sox-Orioles
Burks brings 2,000 games of experience to the broadcast
Ellis Burks is back in Boston.
The former Boston Red Sox outfielder officially has joined the NESN broadcasting team and made his debut during “Red Sox First Pitch” ahead of Friday night’s game against the Baltimore Orioles. Burks played 18 Major League Baseball seasons, including seven with the Sox from 1987-92, and his final 11 games in 2004 when he earned himself a World Series ring.
