Bengals May Have Saddest Excuse For Interview Podium In NFL History

Where's the VHS when you need it?

Somebody got really lazy in setting up the Cincinnati Bengals interviews on Thursday.

NFL interview podiums usually fit a certain mold: Team colors, logo, high-quality wood. They try to exude a certain level of class.

Heck, even the lowly Detroit Lions have a podium that probably smells of rich mahogany.

The one employed by the Bengals this week, by contrast, looked more like something you'd typically see in a second grade classroom.

To be fair, the camera doesn't usually show the full picture. But in this case the Bengals were exposed from the waist down, showing a podium that appeared to be held together merely by some rusty old screws and maybe some tacky glue.

Although we appreciate this podium bringing back some serious retro vibes, you kind of have to feel bad for the first-place Bengals and hope this sudden exposure grants them the interview podium they truly deserve.
