VA Hero Of The Week: The Jimmy Fund
Another successful radio-telethon in the books.
The 20th annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon was hosted at Fenway Park on Aug. 23 and Aug. 24.
The radio-telethon raised more than $3.5 million over the two days span, which brings the radio-telethon’s total contribution amount to nearly $66 million.
The donations made during the event will provide benefits to patient care and cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, one of the leading cancer hospitals in the country.
