Jabrill Peppers led the New England Patriots from the first defensive snap of the game all the way to the postgame locker room.

The Patriots safety addressed his teammates after New England earned a stunning win over the Buffalo Bills in their Week 7 game at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. And Peppers' passionate speech added to the emotion, the Patriots scoring a game-winning touchdown with 12 seconds left.

"Hey, fellas, that's how you respond, man," Peppers told his teammates in the locker room, as shared by the Patriots. "It's not what you do in times of comfort, but how we respond in adversity, man. Way to not flinch, way to not waver, man. That's how you win a game. We earned this one."

Peppers recorded an interception of Josh Allen on Buffalo's first offensive snap. It led to a seven-play, 45-yard touchdown drive which was capped by an Ezekiel Elliot 2-yard run. The Patriots took a 10-0 lead with seven minutes left in the first quarter, putting their slow starts in the rearview en route to their best win of the season.

"Welcome to the league, Pop!" Peppers shouted while embracing Douglas, a star of the game.

The video portrayed the vocal leader Peppers is becoming for New England, filling that role along with captain Matthew Slater. Slater himself broke down the Patriots in the locker room with a twist on what he's done in the past.
