VA Hero Of Week: PWHL Boston Secures Game 1 Win In Walter Cup Finals

Hannah Brandt’s lucky stick was responsible for two goals in Game 1 of the Walter Cup Finals, which helped PWHL Boston seal a 4-3 win over Minnesota.

It all started when Hannah Brandt lent her stick to Taylor Wenczkowski after she dropped hers mid-game. Wenczkowski scored and then three minutes later, Brandt contributed another goal using the same stick.
