Unlike his posts about the ongoing Team USA saga, Jaylen Brown's latest viral submission on social media doesn't appear to be bound for a full-blown ordeal.
Brown, who's made headlines for being outspoken about his Paris Olympics omission, was captured taking an apparent shot at Bronny James on Monday night. In a courtside conversation with girlfriend Ksyre Gondrezick and WNBA star Angel Reese in Las Vegas, the Celtics star appeared to state his belief that the Los Angeles Lakers rookie won't be a legitimate pro.
Brown's remarks didn't irk James' agent, Rich Paul, who also represents LeBron James. The Klutch Sports Group founder spoke out about the clip Tuesday on "The Pat McAfee Show."
More Celtics
"I saw some of the stuff that came out about Jaylen Brown," Paul said. "You can't take everybody's opinion and try to turn it against them or think he's a bad person. No, they have opinions. They can say what they want to say. At least he's someone who's actually in the league. There are a lot of experts with no expertise. He's actually an expert with expertise. So if he has an opinion, he can have that opinion. But I know Jaylen and I know he doesn't mean that with any malice. He was just having a conversation. It's just the world we live in today. Why would he think somebody would be videoing him saying anything?"

Brown himself addressed the clip Tuesday morning. While the NBA Finals MVP didn't backtrack on his apparent take, he did say he was "looking forward" to seeing how the USC product develops at basketball's highest level.
So, this issue might already be put to rest. But we certainly haven't heard the last of Brown when it comes to not representing his country in France this summer.
