Jayson Tatum is going to rock a new jersey this summer, but swapping Celtics green for red, white and blue won't be the only thing different about the star forward's look.
After a few weeks off the court, which included NBA championship celebrations and signing a record-breaking contract extension, Tatum returned to work Monday when he touched down in Las Vegas, where Team USA is preparing for the Paris Olympics. The five-time All-Star arrived to camp a little bit lighter as he chopped off his locks and sported a shorter, tighter haircut.
Celtics fans will remember the similar hairstyle Tatum sported in his first few seasons with Boston before growing out the curls. Those same Green Teamers might also remember Tatum declaring the confidence he feels after a haircut, so the 26-year-old probably likes his chances of leaving France with the second gold medal of his career.
