Davante Adams is doing his best to silence the narrative that he could ask for trade from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Adams, through his agents Kenny Chapman and Frank Bauer, released a statement to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday afternoon. It comes after trade speculation was starting to engulf the three-time First Team All-Pro.

“This is a baseless, unfounded speculation and Davante is expected to be with the Raiders as there has been absolutely no trade talk — period,” the agents told Schefter.

The trade speculation was rooted in the recent comments of Aaron Rodgers and Adams’ own words in Netflix’s “Receiver” docuseries.

Rodgers recently said he looks forward to playing with Adams “again.” And right as Rodgers comments were picking up steam on social media, the Netflix series broadcast Adams’ frustrations with the Raiders during the 2023 campaign. Adams, however, seemed to be in a much better frame of mind after head coach Josh McDaniels was fired and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo lost the starting job to Aidan O’Connell.
