The Boston Red Sox sport a trio of All-Stars in 2024 with each player driving a key initiative of the ballclub.

Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers and Tanner Houck have been instrumental to the Red Sox currently holding a postseason spot as the final week before the break commences.

Here's a glimpse into what each of these All-Stars has meant to the Red Sox this season:

Jarren Duran
2024 Stats: .276/.338/.475, .813 OPS, 123 OPS+, 44 XBH, 10 HR, 40 RBI, 21/24 SB, 4.6 WAR

Duran is one of the sport's most dynamic players. He showed that in flashes before a toe injury ended his 2023 season. That's only motivated a statement 2024 season.

Duran's improved defense, ever-threatening speed and overall hustle gave the Red Sox an identity of athleticism to challenge their opponents and force pressure. As the leadoff hitter, Duran makes the engine go for the Red Sox. There are truly few catalysts in baseball like Duran and Boston sure knows how to get the most out of the ballclub's unique athlete.

Rafael Devers
2024 Stats: .293/.378/.593, .971 OPS, 165 OPS+, 41 XBH, 21 HR, 55 RBI, 2/2 SB, 3.1 WAR

Whether he intended to be or not, Devers is unquestionably Boston's greatest star and the face of the franchise. He's the only remaining player from when the Red Sox took home a World Series title in 2018. Devers' evolution into a superstar remains on full display and he's sure playing like one in recent weeks.

The Red Sox slugger put his "down" 2023 season behind him and found a way to lock in with ridiculous production throughout the first half.

Devers leads by example. That's a great example at the plate for the youthful Red Sox to follow.

Tanner Houck
2024 Stats: 7-6, 2.68 ERA, 18 GS, 111.0 IP, 1 CG (1 SHO), 106 K, 23 BB, 2.68 FIP, 1.045 WHIP, 8.6 K/9

Boston's rotation had plenty of burdens to carry entering this season. Few moves were made in the offseason as the Red Sox opted to trust the internal improvements of young arms. No one made more of the opportunity than Houck.

The right-hander pitches this season as a consistent and calm presence on the mound. He regularly pitches deep into games and drives his ballclub to a chance to win. Houck's highlight moment came with a complete-game shutout back in April.

For now, the Red Sox may still be watching the potential starting pitcher for the American League.

The three Red Sox All-Stars will showcase their talents with the 2024 MLB All-Star Game set for Tuesday, July 16 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
