Many baseball players have their routines for before and after games.
For Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran, his postgame routine helps clear his mind.
If the All-Star does not have too many thoughts after playing, he will write in a journal to clear the thoughts from his mind. When Duran has a lot on his mind, he will color to help slow himself down.
"I've actually learned a couple new things," Duran told the "Baseball Isn't Boring" podcast. "When my brain's going a million miles an hour after the game, I usually do a little coloring book which kind of helps slow me down."

The 27-year-old stumbled on the idea to color when he was searching up things that people do to clear their minds. Coloring helps Duran not have anxiety after a long day at the ballpark.
If he writes down his thoughts while his mind is going at a fast pace, he says it usually turns into gibberish. When he can sit down in front of a coloring book, it helps him relax more than writing.
"At first I was like 'I'm not gonna color, like whatever,'" Duran said. "And then I started doing it and I was like 'I kind of like this.'"

Duran was asked what coloring book he uses, and he made it known that it is not a children's coloring book. Instead, he uses a coloring book that has different cuss words on each page. The Red Sox outfielder says that it makes it funny and entertaining to color each cussword in.
The All-Star Game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday in Arlington, Texas. Duran and teammate Tanner Houck are available to play for the American League.
