Jarren Duran made the ultimate statement while representing the Boston Red Sox to win the 2024 MLB All-Star Game MVP.

Duran slugged the game-winning, two-run home run in the fifth inning to put the American League ahead for good. The Red Sox star earned the trophy named after another Boston outfielder in the legendary Ted Williams.

During an interview with FOX Sports' Kevin Burkhardt after receiving the trophy, which is shaped like a bat, Duran revealed what he would do with the award.

"I'll probably end up giving it to my dad," Duran shared on the FOX Sports broadcast. "He'll put it in a nice place for me to hold for the season."

The Red Sox star had a special moment with his dad after finding out he would make his All-Star debut before a win on "Sunday Night Baseball" over the New York Yankees.

While the bat will go to Duran's dad, the Red Sox outfielder's jersey from the Midsummer Classic is off to Cooperstown at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, per the Boston Globe's Alex Speier.
