Robert MacIntyre has won the one he’s always wanted.

The 27-year-old Scot, who entered the weekend as the No. 44 golfer in the world, won the Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club on Sunday. MacIntyre overcome runner-up Adam Scott with an eagle, par, birdie three-hole stretch to win his nation’s tournament.

MacIntyre’s tournament-winning birdie putt and emotional celebration is sure to give golf fans chills.

CBS broadcaster Jim Nantz’s call of “Great Scot!” surely added to the moment.

“I kept saying this was the one I want,” MacIntyre told CBS Sports’ Amanda Balionis after he won the tournament at 18-under par. “I kept saying to myself, ‘Take your chance, take your chance.’ And I took it. I can’t believe it.”

MacIntyre, also known as “Bobby Mac,” now has two of the most memorable wins this season after he earned his first PGA Tour victory at the RBC Canadian Open last month with his father serving as his caddie.
