SportsNet Pittsburgh on Wednesday announced the launch of its revamped website SportsNetPittsburgh.com. This is the first-ever editorial site for the network, which will give fans expanded coverage of all Pittsburgh sports teams.

The new website includes news, highlights, and exclusive content across major sports leagues with a Pittsburgh focus. The site is also a one-stop shop for live scores, schedules, and real-time statistics for all Pittsburgh sports fans.

“We are excited to continue our digital evolution of SportsNet Pittsburgh in order to meet today’s sports fan where they are,” president and CEO of SportsNet Pittsburgh Sean McGrail said. “The newly designed website will enable us to cover the exciting storylines and stars of the Pittsburgh Pirates and build anticipation for the upcoming Pittsburgh Penguins season. In addition, we will provide extensive coverage of tri-state sports more broadly.”

This builds on the web streaming experience launched last year, making SportsNetPittsburgh.com a comprehensive sports destination for local fans. Fans will still be able to stream live Pirates and Penguins games on SportsNetPittsburgh.com as part of SNP 360, SportsNet Pittsburgh’s digital streaming service.

SportsNet Pittsburgh announced in April that fans can livestream Pirates and Penguins games via a direct subscription to SNP 360. Fans who already have SportsNet Pittsburgh in their TV package can download the SNP 360 app to watch on the go or on their connected TV device for free.

SportsNet Pittsburgh is the television and streaming home of the Pirates and Penguins, in addition to other local professional and collegiate sporting events. The network is jointly owned by the Penguins and Pirates, and daily operations of the network are managed by NESN. Wednesday’s announcement marks the next step of growth for the SportsNet Pittsburgh network under NESN’s leadership.
