TV Star? Bill Belichick’s Latest Career Move Revealed

Bill Belichick might not be roaming the sidelines in 2024-25, but you’ll still be able to find him throughout the season.

It will just be between “Vampire Diaries” and “One Tree Hill” re-runs on The CW.

Belichick is joining “Inside the NFL” for its second season at The CW, the network announced Thursday. He will appear on the panel show alongside Ryan Clark, Chad Johnson, and Chris Long — the latter two of which he coached during his 24-season-long stint with the New England Patriots.

“I’m thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise,” Belichick said in a statement. “I’ve always appreciated ‘Inside the NFL’s’ depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros — Ryan, Chris and Chad — this coming season.”

Belichick previously partnered with NFL Films on the series “NFL 100 All-Time Team,” which won an Emmy Award and earned him a nomination for Outstanding Studio Analyst. This year will mark his 50th straight season working in the NFL.

His debut is set to premiere on Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

Belichick is keeping himself busy this season, as he is expected to “make millions” in a recurring role on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli,” a new book deal and sporadic appearances on “The Pat McAfee Show.” It is expected the 72-year-old will return to the NFL next season, looking to surpass Don Shula’s record for most wins by a head coach (347).

He has a pretty solid backup plan, though.
