      Despite suffering his first loss in the MLB, Pirates starter Paul Skenes saw his odds increase significantly for winning for NL Cy Young Award.

      The Pittsburgh rookie pitched eight and a third innings and fanned eight batters in the Pirates 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
