The Boston Red Sox enter the final week before the MLB All-Star break, now featuring three players who will be making the trip to Arlington, Texas.
Jarren Duran and Tanner Houck are both set to make their All-Star debuts while Rafael Devers earned his third selection with the Red Sox.
Alex Cora had to buy time to hide his excitement before eventually informing the ballclub of the three selections.
Cora eventually arrived at Yankee Stadium to share the good news with the Red Sox clubhouse, as seen in a team-provided video.

The Red Sox manager began with Devers and emphasized the star's role in Boston.
"He hates it, but I do believe he's the face of the franchise," Cora said.
Cora also praised the abilities and composure of Houck as the Red Sox starter may still have a case to be the starting pitcher for the American League.

"Talking about consistency, when he pitches, he shows up," Cora shared of Houck. "He's very relaxed. He doesn't panic."
Finally, Cora had an extra special leadup to Duran's announcement.
"When we talk about consistency, posting and playing the game right, this guy is (expletive) amazing," Cora said. "We got kids here and I bet if you want your kids to become big leaguers and play the game the right way, you're going to tell them to take a look at Jarren Duran, (expletive) All-Star!"
