The New England Patriots on Tuesday afternoon announced a series of roster moves as they trimmed their roster to 53 players.
The Patriots released 16 players on Tuesday after releasing 14 on Monday. They placed three players on injured reserve, put three others on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) and placed one player on the non-football injury list (NFI).
Those released Tuesday included: safety Joshuah Bledsoe, offensive Kellen Diesch, offensive lineman Liam Fornadel, linebacker Joe Giles-Harris, running back Kevin Harris, running back Terrell Jennings, linebacker Kobe Jones, wide receiver Matt Landers, guard Atonio Mafi, defensive end Jotham Russell, kicker Chad Ryland, safety A.J. Thomas, cornerback Shaun Wade, wide receiver David Wallis, tight end Mitchell Wilcox and quarterback Bailey Zappe.
Those released Monday included: long snapper Tucker Addington, wide receiver Kawaan Baker, defensive end William Bradley-King, defensive tackle Josiah Bronson, linebacker Steele Chambers, running back Deshaun Fenwick, cornerback Azizi Hearn, offensive tackle Zuri Henry, defensive end Christian McCarroll, tight end La'Michael Pettway, defensive tackle Sam Roberts, center Charles Turner, cornerback Mikey Victor and tight end Jacob Warren.

Additionally, the Patriots placed wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, guard Cole Strange and linebacker Sione Takitaki on the PUP list. Defensive tackle Christian Barmore, who was hospitalized with blood clots this summer, was placed on the NFI list (designated to return). Offensive lineman Calvin Anderson, safety Marte Mapu (designated to return) and defensive tackle Armon Watts were placed on injured reserve.
