Every game is valuable for the Red Sox in the final two months of the regular season, and they'll look to bounce back in Saturday matinee action.
Boston suffered an 8-4 loss to the Houston Astros at Fenway Park on Friday. The bullpen let down Alex Cora and Tanner Houck, but the Red Sox will look to turn the page in the middle matchup of the series.
Josh Winckowski will start as the opener in Saturday's matchup. The right-hander has 20 career starts in the majors, and he'll make his sixth start of the season when he steps on the mound against Houston.
There will only be one change to Boston's lineup with Danny Jansen rotating in at catcher for Connor Wong. The veteran will take the fifth spot in the lineup between Rafael Devers and Dominic Smith.
