      The Red Sox and the Astros will wrap up their three-game series Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.

      Rafael Devers was not in Boston's starting lineup for the matinee matchup. Should the All-Star third baseman stay on the bench for the entirety of the contest, it will mark his first missed game since June 9. And it would be a deserving day off for Devers, who's helped keep the Red Sox in the postseason conversation despite a nagging injury.

      Nick Sogard will start at third base in place of Devers. The recently called-up 26-year-old will share an infield with David Hamilton, Enmanuel Valdez and Dominic Smith. Those four will play behind starter James Paxton, who's coming off a quality start in Monday's win in Kansas City.
