The Red Sox earned a much-needed win Monday and look for two in a row when they take the field at Fenway Park on Tuesday.
Boston beat the Texas Rangers, 5-4, after Rob Refsnyder hit a walk-off single to help the Red Sox break a four-game losing streak. The victory has them two games behind the Kansas City Royals for the final American League wild-card spot.
Manager Alex Cora rolls out the same lineup from Monday with Jarren Duran serving the final game of his unpaid two-game suspension. Kutter Crawford starts on the mound for Boston. The right-hander is coming off a loss to the Kansas City Royals last Wednesday. The 28-year-old tossed 3 2/3 innings giving up six runs off five hits while striking out three batters and walking three.
First pitch for Red Sox-Rangers is scheduled at 7:10 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN starting with pregame at 6 p.m. following the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon.
