BOSTON -- The Red Sox dropped the second game of the day-night doubleheader, 7-3, to the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park on Monday night.

With the loss, the Red Sox fell to 67-64 on the season, while the Blue Jays improved to 65-68.

ONE BIG TAKEAWAY
The Red Sox got out to the early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Triston Casas knocked in Jarren Duran after the center fielder doubled to center for his second extra-base hit in his second at-bat.

The Blue Jays exploded for five runs in the fourth inning to give Toronto a 5-1 lead. George Springer led the charge when he smacked his 19th home run and second of the day, scoring Leo Jimenez and Steward Berroa.

Springer was not the only batter to hit a home run in both games of the doubleheader. Duran launched a two-run bomb in the bottom of the eighth inning with David Hamilton on to bring the Red Sox within two. Toronto added two runs in the ninth to secure the doubleheader sweep.
