Bill Belichick enacted his next media event by making his inaugural appearance on ESPN's "Manningcast" during "Monday Night Football" for the first time during the 2024 season. The former New England Patriots head coach joined Super Bowl champion quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.
Belichick got the best of Peyton on the way to multiple championships with the Patriots. He cannot say the same for the younger Manning brother. The former New York Giants quarterback won both of his championships against Belichick's Patriots in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI.
As a result, Belichick flashed the peace sign on TV and steered clear of any jokes with the two-time Super Bowl MVP based on their on-field meetings in February.
"Not at all, I'm not making fun of Eli," Belichick joked. "I'm not throwing any stones at him because he'll toss some boulders back at me. Eli, can we have a peace treaty?"
