Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel on Thursday night revealed Miami's plan to "bring someone in" following Tua Tagovailoa's concussion.
No, the potential new quarterback in Miami will not be Tom Brady.
The Dolphins' past interest in Brady is very well-documented, so it was only natural for fans and media members alike to kick around the idea after Tagovailoa went down against the Buffalo Bills. But ESPN's Adam Schefter emphatically shut down the hypothetical Sunday morning.
"I know a lot of people suggested Tom Brady -- bringing him out of retirement. That's not gonna happen," the NFL insider said on "Sunday NFL Countdown."

While Brady will stay in the broadcast booth, there might be a chance of another former New England Patriots quarterback relocating to South Beach. If Tagovailoa is set to be sidelined for a while and Miami loses faith in Skylar Thompson, Jacksonville Jaguars backup Mac Jones would be a fascinating potential trade target.
Tagovailoa's status remains unclear, but the 2020 first-round pick reportedly has "no plans" to retire following the third known concussion of his NFL career.
