Bill Belichick has tacked on another gig for the 2024 NFL season, and in this endeavor, he'll be working alongside a longtime colleague.
ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning reported that Belichick has joined The 33rd Team as a strategic advisor. The eight-time Super Bowl champion wasn't the only former NFL head coach who recently latched on with the burgeoning football media company either, as Matt Patricia and Adam Gase joined as well.
Belichick and Patricia worked together for 16 years in New England. Patricia spent last season as a senior defensive assistant in Philadelphia, but his Eagles contract expired at the end of the campaign. Gase, who coached AFC rivals of Belichick's Patriots from 2016 through 2020, has been without an NFL job since he was fired by the New York Jets four years ago.
The 72-year-old Belichick has stockpiled media jobs since leaving New England in January. The future Hall of Fame coach will be a regular on "The Pat McAfee Show" this season, co-host an ESPN+ program with Peyton Manning and lead an Underdog Fantasy show, which is set to feature Patricia in one of its first episodes.

Time will tell how long Belichick and Patricia work in the media, though, as both seemingly still have aspirations to coach in the league again.
