Bill Belichick and Tom Brady both have been there and done that in the NFL, but Week 1 of the 2024 season provided new experiences for the pair of future Hall of Famers.

Belichick opened up his first regular season as a media member, including an appearance on ESPN2's "ManningCast" for Monday's matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets. Brady, meanwhile, worked his first game as FOX's lead NFL color commentator Sunday afternoon.

The legendary quarterback's call of the Dallas Cowboys' road win over the Cleveland Browns was met with mixed reviews, but Belichick was among those who thought Brady excelled in the broadcast booth.

"I thought Tom was great," Belichick said on the latest episode of the "Let's Go!" podcast, as transcribed by Bleacher Report. "I think that he had a lot better day when Dallas went to Cleveland than I had in my first game in Cleveland when Dallas came in. ... I thought Tom did great. I thought he brought up a lot of great points in the game. Certainly the number of times Cleveland went backwards he continued to highlight."

Week 2 will take Brady to Dallas, where he will be on the call for the Cowboys' matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Belichick also will be in attendance for an NFC showdown, as he's set to do the latest "ManningCast" from Philadelphia where the Eagles will host the Atlanta Falcons.
