It didn't take Jalen Reagor very long to find a new job in the NFL after he flamed out of New England.
The Athletic's Daniel Popper on Monday night reported the Los Angeles Chargers plan to sign Reagor to their practice squad pending a physical. The pact reportedly was agreed to six days after the 2020 first-round pick was released by the Patriots, who feature one of the NFL's weakest wide receiver corps.
Reagor departed Foxboro, Mass., on a rather humiliating note. Jerod Mayo and company swiftly cut ties with the 25-year-old after he used social media to seemingly insinuate that he was more talented than the majority of New England's roster. Reagor, who had been with the Patriots since late August 2023, appeared in 11 games for New England last season and caught seven passes for 138 yards with no touchdowns.
The TCU product joins a Chargers wide receiver room still finding its footing after losing Keenan Allen and Mike Williams over the offseason. LA has been a first-run team early in its first season under Jim Harbaugh, as it entered Week 4 ranked 31st in the league in passing yards per game (125.7). Only the Patriots (102) logged a lower mark through three weeks.

The Bolts will mark Reagor's fourth team in five seasons. He spent his first two NFL campaigns with the Philadelphia Eagles before playing with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022.
