The Packers on Saturday morning received slight optimism on Jordan Love.
Love suffered a brutal-looking injury while taking a hit from the Eagles pass rush in the final minute of Green Bay's loss to Philadelphia in Brazil. Head coach Matt LaFleur did not have an immediate update after Friday's matchup.
According to The Athltic's Dianna Russini, an ankle injury was ruled out. NFL Media's Tom Pelissero added that initial tests revealed Love's ACL was intact. Both insiders reported Saturday that more will be revealed after the signal-caller gets an MRI when the Packers fly back to Green Bay with a wide range of outcomes expected.
The severity of Love's injury will determine the next course of action for the Packers, who have Malik Willis and Sean Clifford as the only other quarterbacks on the roster.
