FOXBORO, Mass. -- Patriots fans received a treat before New England kicked off its home opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.

The Patriots displayed a uniform change when they took the field at Gillette Stadium, as Jerod Mayo's team rocked its blue uniforms with silver pants. The combination hasn't been seen too often in recent years as New England has predominantly worn its blue jerseys and blue pants.

The Patriots wore their silver pants twice during the 2023 campaign, per Uni Watch.

New England fans were thrilled to see the combination return.
